Youth Strength & Conditioning
As we get older our bodies change and we need to adjust our
training, often to give more recovery time. This doesn’t mean you
can’t still compete in sport and enjoy your fitness, it just means you
need to plan your training accordingly. One of the great things about
getting older is most sports have some form of masters category
which means you can compete against your age group. You can
even go to National, European and World events.
We will focus on your strength, power, speed, mobility, agility and
endurance. Our strength and conditioning training is adapted to you
and your ability. Whether it’s for a sport you regularly compete in, an
event you’re looking to complete or an improvement to your body
and lifestyle then we will help.
Matt is a level 4 strength and conditioning coach, performance
athletics coach, triathlon coach and personal trainer. He has
considerable experience with the masters age group and has
trained people to achieve PB’s in numerous sports recreationally
and at National and World level. He will use all of his knowledge
and experience to make sure you get the best training for you to
achieve your aims.
Why do Strength and Conditioning Training?
You will get one to one training from a professional, fully qualified and insured strength and conditioning coach. The focus is on you and what you
want to achieve in an environment that is inviting. We spend the time planning your training to ensure it is specific to your aims and pushes you to
achieve your highest level of performance. We look at long term development and improvement to progress you and minimise the risk of injury.
We will carry out an initial analysis looking at you and your objectives and the requirements of your sport. You will carry out a movement assessment
and some short tests specific to your sport. This allows us to see which areas you’re strong in and where needs the most development. Using all the
information we obtain we will follow a periodised plan for your training to improve you in all aspects of your sport. Throughout we will carry out further
movement assessments and tests to make sure you’re achieving your targets.
Our aim is to make every customer feel valued through excellent service. We do this in numerous ways including never booking people back to back
so you won’t be rushed in or out. We regularly update our knowledge and learn new concepts. We keep our training at an affordable rate so it is open
to all; this doesn’t mean we are any less qualified or skilled at what we do, we just want to give value for money.
Book a free no obligations meeting where you can come and see the training area, meet us and discuss your aims. We won’t pressure you but allow
you to make a decision and then start your training at a time and day convenient to you.
